Softek provides a broad spectrum of software consulting and support services to help clients set up specific projects, troubleshoot problems, or learn how to quickly use features.  Our software experts can provide hourly consultation with any of the following services either onsite, by telephone, or via email:

• Analyze and recommend solutions for various business tasks.
• Perform data conversations and migrations.
• Write instruction guides and technical documentation.
• Develop online Help systems, e-learning demos, and tutorials.
• Develop corporate templates and fill-in forms using MS Word and Adobe Acrobat.
• Create custom database reports using MS Access and Crystal Reports.

Report and Proposal Setup

Softek can help you develop the framework for large reports, proposals, and manuals. Using the application of your choice, we will design the layout, define the appropriate styles, build the table of contents and index, and incorporate tables and other graphic elements.

Template and Online Forms Creation

Softek can help you turn hand-filled documents into fill-in forms so users can type directly online using either Word or Adobe Reader. With employees and clients completing online forms, you can compile the responses quicker and more effectively than if you were dealing with a standard paper document.

Document Conversion and Cleanup

Let Softek's experienced staff clean up and convert your documents when you switch applications. For example, if you have a complex WordPerfect document that includes a table of contents, index, styles, graphics, or tables, you need to clean up the document after it has been opened in Word. Because Softek employees have thorough product knowledge, we can complete conversion jobs quickly and cost effectively.

User Documentation and Technical Writing

Softek's experienced writers can produce custom documentation for your in-house applications. In a matter of days, our staff can learn the application and write custom courseware for you to distribute or use for internal training. Softek can develop either structured courseware or general outlines to explain the technical details of any application.

Access and Crystal Reports Creation

Softek's experienced report writers can design custom reports based on your database requirements. We can create custom reports in Crystal Reports or Access to your specifications, or we can design a template to help you get started.

Software Consulting Rates

All consulting services are $150 per hour, billed in 15-minute increments. Services can be provided at your office, at Softek, by telephone and/or by e-mail. There is a 6-hour minimum fee if services are rendered at your location.

Volume discounts are provided for multiple-day projects. Please call our office if you would like to receive a quote or estimate for your specific initiative.
