Course Customization

Softek develops most of its courseware in-house. We can easily customize a training guide that covers the specific topics you require and integrate examples relevant to your work environment. This personalized approach is the hallmark of Softek's educational philosophy. Softek offers the following custom customization options:

Option #1

Create a custom training guide that contains pre-written modules, topics and/or exercises that are most applicable.  This option generally takes 2 to 4 hours and allows our courseware designer to spend 15 to 30 minutes discussing your requirements. We would then extract the most applicable topics and exercises from our pre-written library of documentation.  This option is generally more cost effective then ordering multiple training guides for each student since topics could span across the introductory, intermediate, and advanced courses.

Option #2

Expand on option #1 by creating a custom training guide that includes screen shots, instructions and exercises that are specific to your organization.  This option generally takes 4+ hours and allows our courseware designer to spend 15 to 30 minutes discussing your requirements, analyzing sample files, extract the most applicable topics/exercises from our pre-written library, and write new content and exercises. 

Option #3

Softek can learn and train on your proprietary application. As a leader in the training industry, Softek can design custom classes for your in‑house applications. In a matter of days, our staff can learn the application and develop custom courseware for you to distribute or use for internal training. Or, if you would prefer, our experienced instructors can even conduct the classroom training.

Customization Fees

Course customization is billed at $125 per hour, billed in 15-minute increments. This covers any time needed to meet, discuss, prepare, and incorporate any specific examples into the training program. Once we have a better idea of what you have in mind, we will be glad to provide a specific price quote for the customization. There is a 2-hour minimum fee for customization.
