Our Instructors

Our instructors have been carefully chosen for their enthusiasm and personality. These qualities are essential to providing excellent interactive training. Our instructors create a relaxed learning environment that includes and involves all students, and they always welcome questions. Softek instructors bring real-world experience into the classroom and provide practical examples in each course.

All Softek Instructors:

Have at least five years of instructor-led training experience, most have over ten years of instructor-led training experience;

Are Microsoft Office User Specialist certified;

Are extremely knowledgeable and have hands-on experience because of their relevant consulting work;

Are dedicated professionals who truly care about each student's educational experience;

Are extremely flexible and capable of customizing classes on the-fly; and

Are employees of the company and share in the educational philosophy that has made Softek successful.

Softek instructors, in addition to explaining and demonstrating software features, constantly ask questions and present scenarios to make students think and problem-solve during class. Instructors also make appropriate use of questions and comments to keep individual trainees personally involved in classroom discussion. These techniques keep class entertaining and ensure comprehension, absorption, and retention of learning both during and after class.

Ultimately, the quality and effectiveness of any training program lies with the instructor. Softek's instructors are all professional, knowledgeable and have real-world experience with the applications they teach.

Generic classroom instruction is often difficult for employees to apply to actual, job-related tasks at the workplace. For this reason, Softek's Instructors customize the courses to meet the needs of our students.

Before training begins, the Instructor will listen to the needs of each student to carefully assess the tasks they perform, the features with which they need to become most familiar, and their existing level of experience with the application(s) and/or operating system.

We design and provide meaningful instruction that focuses not just on software functionality, but on how to get real work done.
