This live, instructor‐led course will teach students efficient and effective note-taking methods that capture key information in a clear and organized way. Students will learn the thought process for deciding when to take linear vs. visual notes, how to effectively listen, how to document action plans, and how to effectively write meeting minutes. As a result, students discover techniques for taking notes more quickly, capturing ideas rather than sentences, improving typing speed, and using simple shorthand. Several note-taking templates and software tools are introduced that help with meeting minutes, project planning, SWOT meetings, timelines, and more.
