Softek was contracted to design and build an e-Learning module to educate electricity supplier licensees of the Commission on rules surrounding Electricity Supplier Education. The project consisted of three tasks: 1) create an online Electricity Supplier Education Training module, 2) create a Testing/Certification module to assess the electric supplier’s knowledge, and 3) integrate licensees and testing results into the Commission’s Case Management system.
Softek was contracted to translate content from the academic disaster epidemiology course modules into online, self-led courses for use by state, local, tribal, and territorial public health departments to bolster their preparedness and response training. Softek used effective instructional strategies, including voice-overs, short informational videos, knowledge checks, call-out boxes, and other tools, techniques, and methods appropriate for adult eLearning. The courses also met the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) IT, 508, and other requirements for web-based products.
For the Health Studies Branch of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Softek converted an instructor-led training class for online delivery. The project involved creating an interactive and engaging online e-Learning course on Toxicologic Outbreak Investigations suitable for both domestic and international audiences. Two case studies were created along with a downloadable instructor guide and participant guide. All assets were designed to meet the CDC’s strict 508 compliance requirements for web-based products.
