No, there is no dress code. You will find the attire for most students to be business casual. We do encourage you to bring a light sweater due to the temperature in the classroom.

Yes. Our facility is located near the McPherson Square Metro and Farragut North Metro stations.
Public courses at Softek begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. and end no later than 4:00 p.m. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes early to prepare for the class.
IMPORTANT: If you anticipate being late, please contact us as soon as possible. Depending on the progression of the class and the time of your arrival, you may be asked to reschedule your course. To get the most out of your learning experience and as a courtesy to others, please arrive on time!
No. If you attend a course at Softek's training facility, we will provide you with a computer(some training rooms have laptops and some desktops - view pictures of our training rooms) and an external mouse to use. However, if you have any special needs that require special equipment, we ask that you contact us in advance to discuss your needs.
Yes. We provide guest access to WiFi. You are welcome to use the Internet before class, while on breaks, and after class. As a courtesy, we ask that you refrain from using the Internet during the class.
Yes. You are welcome to bring food and drinks into the classroom; however, we ask that you use extreme care and consideration to avoid harming the computers. Softek provides complimentary coffee, tea, and light breakfast items in the morning as well as afternoon snacks and beverages. These typically include sodas, pretzels, and an assortment of cookies.
Yes. You are welcome to bring your lunch; we have a refrigerator and microwave available. There are several lunch locations nearby if you would rather purchase lunch:
The topics scheduled to be covered in each course are located in our course catalog. Please be sure to review them prior to the course.
Yes. Your instructor will share a detailed schedule at the start of the class. The course schedule consists of two 10-15 minute breaks (morning and afternoon) and a 1-hour lunch break.

That's a great question, as we do encourage you to practice using the skills and tools you learn during your class. A great option is to simply download the class files that were used in the class to repeat the exercises from your manual.
